Artist Statement

I am a Northern Irish stop-motion animator and model maker, with a passion for portraying natural environments through use of texture, colour and attention to detail. I love experimenting with different materials to create naturalistic aesthetics. Creating emotion is vital in my work in order to connect with the viewer, whether it’s through filmic atmosphere or conveying expression through puppets. I enjoy working with my hands, creating unique and personal works of art.

Artist Biography

I studied Animation BA (Hons) at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 2022. My textile-based sculpture of a cheetah, “Hunt for a Better Future”, was selected for the Royal Ulster Academy’s 140th Exhibition (2021-22).
